Lindley’s windmill on Prospect Place, Sutton, will be open from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 17th September 2023.

Come and visit this fine old building which dates from 1820. Many interesting contents to see.

The mill is situated at the very bottom of Prospect Place (off High Pavement) Sutton-in-Ashfield NG17 1AD. See attached map.

We now have a collection of interesting artefacts back inside the Mill and the only complete stone tower mill in Nottinghamshire. We also have a professionally produced video telling the history of the mill.

The roof has been water tested by a recent thunderstorm – and passed.
